Duncan Aviation Adds Global Nose Landing Gear Rental Option for AOG Support

Duncan Aviation added a Global nose landing gear to its rental inventory to help customers minimize AOG downtime while their own landing gear is removed for inspection, repair, or restoration. LINCOLN, NEB. — When an aircraft is grounded by an unexpected landing gear issue, getting the aircraft back in the air quickly is critical. Duncan Aviation is excited to announce the company has added a Global NLG (nose landing gear) to its rental inventory to help customers minimize AOG downtime while their own landing gear is removed for inspection, repair, or restoration.

The rental NLG, part number 22175-109, is available for several Global models, including: 5000, 5000 GVFD, 5500, 6000, 6500, Express, and Express XRS aircraft. The rental gear is available to support aircraft grounded due to an AOG circumstance such as an over-toe condition, hard landing, excessive steering play, or another maintenance issue requiring removal of the NLG.

Duncan Aviation’s Airframe Rapid Response Teams are also available to assist customers with landing gear R&R services, helping facilitate the installation of the rental gear and removal of the customer’s gear when needed. Once installed, customers can quickly return their aircraft to service while Duncan Aviation’s experienced Landing Gear team works on their own NLG.

Once the customer’s gear arrives at Duncan Aviation, technicians perform a comprehensive teardown and inspection. Customers receive a detailed report outlining the gear’s condition and available maintenance options, allowing them to review discrepancies and make informed repair decisions.
